Carlos enjoys looking through boxes of donated clothes for the perfect item. He kept asking if the clothes were for sale. It was nice to be able to tell his mother that so many clothes had been donated by people throughout the Beaufort area.
On Sundays we try to visit the camps with the intent of passing out donations of clothing and shoes while answering any questions that the migrants may have.
Sometimes the need in the camps is so great that it comes difficult to distribute items in an organized manner as Ana and I experienced today at Chisholm Camp. (See photo below). We are now brainstorming to find a better system, a fairer way to distribute donations inside the camps to avoid a free-for-all.
